+====== Burning ======

 +A **Burning** unit is on fire. Each combat round, they take damage that scales with their Size (since bigger units have more surface area that can feel the pain), anywhere from 1 point to **half** their Size rounded up. That's the roll: [1d(Size)] / 2.
 +
 + <color #ff4500>**Fire Attacks**</color> cause burning. The burn is applied **before the Protection roll**; there's a **4%** chance per point, **divided by 3** if it's a <color #0000ff>**Fatigue**</color> attack. Fellows with **10 Fire Resistance or more**, Spiritforms, and beings with a Chill Aura cannot be burned.
 +
 +Note that the damage from burning is not fire damage. Those with **5 Fire Resistance** or more, however, have the damage they take halved again.
 +
 +=== Dousing ===
 +
 +The chance of a fire on a fellow's body to go out is **25%** at base, **+5%** for each point of Cold on the Scales, **+1%** for each point of Fire Resistance, and **+100%** if it's raining or snowing. Heat is considred negative Cold, while a Fire Vulnerability is a negative Resistance.
 +
 +=== Guaranteed Burns ===
 +
 +Fire magic has several avenues for guaranteed burning, including a ??Burn?? spell. Priests of a Fire Pretender God can burn Undead fellows with ??Ashes to Ashes??. There's also an Earth-Fire spell that chucks burning rocks at foes, which set the targets on fire after bashing them.
