I have a few projects for collecting very large amounts of data by scraping the dominions log across many trials of a battle, turn, etc.  If you have any interest in these projects or anything like them I highly encourage you to contact me!

This graph represents 774727 evocations.  The vertical axis is the mean deviation of ranged attacks in terms of number of squares and on the horizontal axis is the distance from the caster to the target minus the precision of the spell (which is actually caster prec + spell prec).

I have python scripts that implement the following steps: 
  * Duplicate a set of test files
  * "host" the files by invoking Dominions from the command line with the debug flag so it generates a log file
  * "scrape" the log file for the desired data about what happened when the turn was hosted
For any given experiment, this routine is performed many, many times by queued jobs in a parallel multiprocess manager.  Then the scraped data from all the logs is compiled and analyzed.
