Being struck by a death weapon causes the recipient to make two [[magic resistance]] rolls: failing the first causes a subject to suffer 2 [[armor negating]] magical damage, whilst failing the second afflicts the subject with [[disease]]. Both rolls are made, regardless of the result of the magic resistance checks.
