This also helps in [[Combat Magic|Combat]]; each point of "Y" increases your Range with spells from "X" by 25%. This doesn't improve [[Precision]], however. Some Examples: * The ??Arch Mage?? has **Far Caster (Elements, 1)**, so he can cast {{:misc:magic:fire.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:air.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:water.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:earth.png?14&nolink}} Rituals 1 province further, & spells with 25% more range. * The ??Master Enchanter?? has **Far Caster (Sorcery, 1)**, so he can cast {{:misc:magic:astral.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:death.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:nature.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:blood.png?14&nolink}} Rituals 1 province further, & spells with 25% more range. * The ??Maharishi?? has **Far Caster (Astral, 2)**, so he can cast {{:misc:magic:astral.png?14&nolink}} Rituals **2** provinces further, & spells with **50%** more range. * The ??Arcane Lens?? provides **Far Caster (All, 1)**, increasing Ritual range and battlefield range for {{:misc:magic:fire.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:air.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:water.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:earth.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:astral.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:death.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:nature.png?14&nolink}}{{:misc:magic:blood.png?14&nolink}}, but **not** for {{:misc:magic:holy.png?14&nolink}}. * The __Far Caster__ [[Bless]] provides **Far Caster 2** for all paths (**including** {{:misc:magic:holy.png?14&nolink}}), but **only** in battle. {{tag>unit-abilities}}
