The unique artifacts (items which require researching Construction 9 to forge) will start to yearn to be forged once their creation seems within reach. Yearning artifacts can be forged at half the usual cost. When an artifact begins yearning, its identity is announced to every player in an event.
Unique artifacts will begin to yearn to be forged after at least one of the following events has occurred:
If only one of these events has occurred, there is a 50% chance per month for an artifact to start yearning. If two or more of these events has occurred, there is a 100% chance per month for an artifact to start yearning.
