Cursed Luck

Cursed luck negates the effects of luck, and causes affected units to have "bad luck" in combat.

According to research on disassembled code of Dominions 41), cursed luck applies a 50% chance to reduce a unit's protection DRN result by another openended 1d6, to a minimum of 0.

Based on the above analysis, it could be projected that the same 50% chance of -1d6 applies to other rolls too. It therefore possible to calculate modified DRN tables for the two casts where the attacker and defender have cursed luck. As with the typical DRN table, the chances shown are the probability of the attacker beating the defender's roll, where difference is calculated as defender's base - attacker's base.
