====== Divine Magic ======

**Divine Magic** is the [[magic]] school of **[[holy|Priests]]**. As with clerics in Dungeons & Dragons, no [[Research]] is required. Divine Magic consists mostly of prayers and invocations of divine power, and most of these spells generate **zero** [[Fatigue]] (aside from Spellcasting [[Encumbrance]]).

All Divine Magic can be used underwater, as well as on land. This can get a little confusing with some of the spells.

===== Banishment Replacements =====
The magic skill of your [[Pretender God]], upon creation, may change your religion's **Banishment** spell if it's high enough. God-like talent (**level 4 or higher**) in a path provides a replacement. If many paths cross this threshold, the highest-level path takes precedence.
