Demons are types of units which a number of properties. They require undead leadership, and are subject to the banishment line of holy spells. They are however not affected by a number of major undead only counters, such as Dust to Dust or Wither Bones. Instead, they have some of their own counters.

Non-national spells which counter demons (and often also undead) are:
