Loggy's Indie Generation notes, for thrones
Game version: 6.29
I'm looking specifically at throne defenders. Going through the whole lot would take quite a while but maybe I'll do it eventually, but this gets tedious very quickly.
Preamble that's common to other indie generation as well
(Side note: some numbers in this section were changed in dom 6)
NOTE that "IS" = INDIE STRENGTH, as in the game setting, modified by all of the below that apply to this province
(Any later modifications to population like those caused by generating certain undead poptypes won't be taken into account)
10000+ pop, +1
15000+ pop, +1
20000+ pop, +1
3500- pop, -1
1500- pop, -1
throne: add 3 * throne level
As with most things, round down after every division unless stated otherwise. So (IS/2) at indie strength 5 is 2.
XdY+ denotes exploding dice.
XdY denotes non-exploding dice.
Each unit entry noted here tries to spawn in a new squad. Due to the commander squad limit, some of these might never actually show up in game.
Give items and Gems
Every time there is a mention of "quality number" for commanders, it is referring to this.
For each magic path the commander has:
Roll closed (pathlevel)d(quality + 1), add this to gems
If this is blood, get an extra (exploding d4) -1
Then, do each of the following rolls independently, and each which succeeds gives the commander one non-nation restricted item of the listed construction levels.
Any line that ends up with a chance of over 100% will never give more than one item. Any random item the commander can't hold (due to lacking the slot type or they are all full of other items) gets discarded and the roll is wasted.
(quality*20) - 60)% - construction 7 item
(quality*20) - 60)% - construction 5 item
(quality*10) - 20)% - construction 5 item
(quality*5)% - construction 3 item
(quality*20) - 40)% - construction 3 item
(quality-3) * 50)% - construction 3 item
(quality*10)% - construction 1 item
Thrones
Throne defenders spawn in addition to the "natural" indies of a province.
Land
The process:
If level 3 throne, use level 3 type.
If level 2 throne, 15% chance to generate using level 3 generation functions.
If throne is flagged "evil" or a 10% chance, use the evil function.
If throne is flagged "wild" or a 10% chance, use the wild function.
Otherwise, use the standard function.
This means:
Level 3 thrones ignore evil/wild and will always use the level 3 type.
Level 2 evil thrones are 15% to be level 3, 85% to be evil type
Level 2 wild thrones are 15% to be level 3, 8.5% to be evil type, 76.5% to be wild type
Other level 2 thrones are 15% to be level 3, 8.5% to be evil type, 7.65% to be wild type, 68.85% to be standard
Level 1 evil thrones are always evil type
Level 1 wild thrones are 90% wild, 10% evil
Other level 1 thrones are 10% evil, 9% wild, 81% standard
