Findings in brief

This table is simply a recording of Asphodel dominion spawn incidents - It records the dominion, scales, and temple presence along with the number and types of manikins that spawned that turn. This way we can see the effect of these variables on spawn rate and quality. The testing isn't exhaustive, but it does give us some indication that the effects are real.

One thing to note is that the sum of Manikin + Mandragora generated in a turn never exceeds 4, and the sum of all other manikins excluding Sagittarian Carcasses never exceeds 4 either. We can induce that this is a built in maximum in both cases. This is why we set the maximum amount of spawn to 80 below, over ten turn intervals.

Spawn Rates:

  1. rows 1-10, low dominion (2), Growth 3, Temple - 27/80 spawn + 5 Sagittarians
  2. rows 11-20, medium dominion (4-5), Growth 3, Temple - 61/80 + 3 Sagittarians
  3. rows 26-35, max dominion (10), Growth 3, Temple - 79/80 spawn + 6 Sagittarians
  4. rows 56-65, medium dominion, Growth 0, Temple - 34/80 spawn + 5 Sagittarians
  5. rows 66-75, medium dominion, Growth 0, No Temple - 28/80 spawn + 0 Sagittarians

The first three points clearly show dominion having an effect on spawn rate as it is ratcheted up. In practice though you would need to balance this with pop kill, which also increases with dominion. Point four compared to point two shows that Growth scales have an effect. Point five compared to point four shows that a temple slightly increases normal spawn rates, but also further increases rates by allowing Sagittarian Carcasses to spawn.

Quality Spawn:

  1. rows 11-20, medium dominion, Magic 3 - 64 total: 3 Mandragora, 1 Minotaur, 1 Bear, 1 Elephant, 3 Sagittarians
  2. rows 46-55, medium dominion, Magic 0 - 66 total: 0 Mandragora, 0 Minotaur, 0 Bear, 0 Elephant, 5 Sagittarians

Considering how low the numbers are this could certainly use more testing, but it seems safe to say that Magic scales do not affect the spawn rate of Sagittarian Carcasses. The other four rare spawns: Mandragoras, Minotaurs, Bears, and Elephants are all significantly reduced in Magic 0.

Asphodel Reanimation Data
Each row is the results of 160 Reanimations with different province variables which would affect dominion spawn. We can infer from this that the spawn rates of each manikin type are set, and not affected by the given variables.
