Enslavement

Enslavement refers to the forceful and unwilling stealing of another nation's unit, as opposed to the somewhat-willing seduction of units that occurs in Charming. The biggest difference between Enslaving and Charming is that, if the Enslaved unit was a Commander (also known as a leader), they are reduced to troop status.

Enslavement is a Sorcery effect. The following spells enslave fellas:

  • Enslave Mind (astral 44, Thaumaturgy 6, affects one being, doesn't affect the Mindless, Penetration 11)
  • Master Enslave (astral 88, 8astralpearl, Thaumaturgy 9, affects the entire team, doesn't affect the Mindless, Penetration 7)
  • Control the Dead (death 22, Thaumaturgy 5, affects an entire square, only affects the Undead, Penetration 11)
  • Undead Mastery (death 77, 7deathgem, Thaumaturgy 8, affects the entire team, only affects the Undead, Penetration 7)
  • Beast Mastery (nature 66, 4naturegem, Thaumaturgy 9, affects the entire team, only affects Animals, Penetration 7)
  • Control (astral 33, 1astralpearl, Alteration 6, affects one being, only affects Magic Beings, Penetration 11)
  • Arcane Domination (astral 77, 7astralpearl, Alteration 8, affects the entire team, only affects Magic Beings, Penetration 7)
  • Celestial Chastisement (astral 33, Evocation 5, affects one being, only affects Magic Beings, Penetration 11, only for the three T'ien Ch'i's)
  • Unholy Command (holy 11, Divine Magic, affects one being, only affects the Undead, Penetration 7, only for Ermor, Sceleria, & Lemuria)

Pretender Gods, Prophets, and Disciples may not be Enslaved, of course. They can't be Charmed, either.
